Readiness to continue performing the most important and time sensitive work, even when disrupted by a threat or hazard.
Continuity Plan A pre-determined and documented plan that details how an organization will ensure it can continue to perform its essential processes during a wide range of events that impact normal operations.
Essential Processes Important, urgent, and time sensitive, that must be continued through a disruption or rapidly resumed. During an emergency or business interruption, these processes are prioritized to ensure impacts and consequences are mitigated.
