    Shabnam KhanShabnam Khan, RN

Shabnam Khan is a certified vibrational sound therapist, breathwork facilitator, and registered nurse. She empowers individuals to cultivate health and well-being by tapping into the body’s natural wisdom through sound therapy, breathwork, and mindful health education.

Alongside her work in holistic health, Khan serves as an ICU registered nurse, providing compassionate care to patients facing critical health challenges. Her journey in this field began eight years ago. She earned her associate’s degree in nursing in 2017, achieved certification in sound therapy in 2020, completed her breathwork facilitator certification in 2024, and will graduate with a bachelor’s in holistic nursing in April 2025.

As a first-generation American, Khan’s upbringing was shaped by her parents’ journey from Bangladesh to the United States over 40 years ago. Navigating life as a first-generation American presented unique rewards and challenges, especially as she transitioned from a closely knit, immigrant household to the demands of adulthood. Balancing this cultural shift with the high-stress hospital environment intensified her need for deeper healing. Driven to explore further, Khan embraced meditation and somatic (body-centered) practices.

Through sound therapy and breathwork, she discovered profound healing, breaking through old patterns and learned behaviors. This shift improved her stress levels, enriched her relationships, sharpened her decision-making, and fundamentally changed her body’s resilience.

Khan is dedicated to empowering others to take ownership of their health by fostering a foundational understanding of the body and practicing radical self-acceptance. She believes that cultivating an authentic relationship with oneself is the key to lasting peace and fulfillment — an inner harmony best achieved when the mind and body are met in stillness.
