Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Events

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on the third Monday of January each year. This year that falls on January 18, 2021. Dr. King's actually birthday is January 15. It took 15 years for MLK Day to be declared a national holiday and he was the first modern private citizen to be honored with a federal holiday.
