With a full week of on-campus activities, we'll show you how URecFit and Wellness supports your fitness and wellness journey. Whether you want to dance, play, train, swim, or focus on your wellness – we have a space for everyone. There's no experience required; we're always here to help. All you have to do is show up, try something fun, and find your fit.
You must be a UMB student or a URecFit and Wellness member to participate.
Not a member? Use a free complimentary one-day membership (first time eligible members only), come with a member to purchase a guest pass, or purchase a one-day membership.
Monday, September 22-Friday, September 26
Fitness Bingo Challenge Complete 3 fitness challenge activities throughout the week and be entered into a raffle. Complete a bingo card with your name and email address, and drop off at URecFit and Wellness by September 30th to be entered into a raffle for a gift card. Bingo cards can be picked up starting September 22nd at our patron desk.
- Walk/run 1 mile
- Bike 3 miles
- Perform Push Ups for 60 Seconds
- Participate in 1 group exercise class
- Swim 400 meters (0.25 miles)
- Hold a plank for 60 seconds
- Hold a squat for 60 seconds

Monday, September 22
Swim Stroke Assessment, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. URecFit and Wellness, 4th floor. Do you already know how to swim, but want to refine your strokes or learn how to increase your endurance? Come to the URecFit and Wellness pool where the Assistant Director of Aquatics will be available to help break down your stroke to assist in better form and provide strategies on how to conquer your next goal.

Pickleball tournament, 5 p.m - 6 p.m. Register for our pickleball tournament on imleagues.com/umaryland to secure your spot, or drop in between 5p - 6p at Pratt Gym.
Yoga on the SON Lawn, 12 p.m. Take your yoga practice outside and join us for Yoga on the Lawn. The event is Wednesday, September 24 and yoga begins promptly at 12pm on the School of Nursing Courtyard Lawn. Pre-registration is not required, but you can pre-register here to save your spot. (Click here for registration). Show up with your mat for a great yoga practice (mats will also be provided). This event is open to all URecFit members and guests. Individual Health Coaching Sessions, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sign up with this link to set up a sample health coaching session with a certified health and wellness coach. Health coaching is a creative, thought-provoking process to inspire and empower you to maximize your personal potential. Sessions are designed to help you achieve self-determined goals related to health and wellness through visioning, goal setting, and accountability.
