All full-time students (Graduate students taking 9 or more credits and Undergraduate students taking 12 or more credits) and all Nursing students (except those in certificate programs) will be enrolled in and billed for the UMB Accident Only Insurance Plan.
Coverage
If you have an accident while on campus, at a practicum, in a UMB approved student group, or traveling to and from a program, the plan provides coverage for many medical services. This includes:
- Hospital room and board
- Inpatient and outpatient surgeries
- Lab tests and X-rays
- Doctor visits
- Ambulance and emergency care
- Durable medical equipment
- Prescription drugs
The maximum benefit for each accident is $50,000, and services are covered at 100% of Reasonable and Customary Charges.
