Celebrating the Class of 2026!
Dear UMB Community,
It’s truly an exciting time as we celebrate the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s (UMB) Class of 2026! This week and next, graduates from all seven schools will reflect on what it took to get to this moment: the hard work, the study hours, the personal growth. I hope every member of the graduating class feels joy, pride, and a tremendous sense of accomplishment.
The journey to graduation began with the decision to come to UMB. Every person’s “why” is different, but every story matters. That’s why we are thrilled to share a special graduation video spotlighting some of the reasons this year’s graduates chose to call UMB home. Whether you’re a graduate or a current student — or a UMB faculty or staff member — you will surely find a “why” that reflects your own journey.
As we honor our graduates, I want to also express my deep gratitude to everyone who supported them along the way: their families, their friends, our faculty, and our staff.
Throughout the coming days, I hope every member of the UMB community will join me in warmly welcoming our many visitors to campus who are here to celebrate our graduates.
