Oprah joined the UMB Office of Philanthropy’s Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) team in 2025. Before coming to Central Philanthropy, she served as Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Center for Restorative Change and as Assistant Director of Community Schools in the UMB School of Social Work. Prior to her work in higher education, Oprah worked as a mental health therapist and in the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office.
