This elective course offers a comprehensive training experience in abortion and reproductive health care for UMB DNP, PA, and DMSc students, as well as resident physicians. The course combines an asynchronous curriculum with clinical skills development and a supervised clinical placement at a site within the Maryland Clinical Abortion Training Network (MCATN). Designed to build both knowledge and hands-on experience, the course emphasizes medication abortion care while also providing exposure to procedural abortion in real-world clinical settings.
