Nephrotic Syndrome KL2 Career Development Award
The UMB ICTR Announces a Special Call for Applications for a Funding Opportunity for a KL2 Mentored Career Development Award Focused on the Physiology, Pathophysiology and/or Treatment of Nephrotic Syndrome
University of Maryland Institute for Clinical & Translational Research (ICTR) is seeking applications for one institutional KL2 Mentored Translational/Clinical Research Scholar Award for innovative research focused on the physiology, pathophysiology, and/or prevention/treatment of NEPHROTIC SYNDROME (NS). The award will support the career development of one early-career faculty investigator through an inter- or multi-disciplinary mentored research experience so that they can become independent, extramurally funded investigators.
This request for applications is for one scholar from University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) or from University of Maryland College Park (UMCP). Support, including salary, research funds, tuition fees, and travel funds, is provided for up to three years. Based upon satisfactory progress, support for the third year will be provided.
