Use these image specifications when creating images for UMB websites, email, the UMB Mobile App, and other digital channels. For social media, please see the platform-specific specifications.
Accessibility
When preparing images for the web:
- Do not include text in images. Put important information in the page content instead.
- Provide appropriate alternative text for meaningful images.
- Mark decorative images appropriately.
- Follow UMB’s accessibility guidelines for images on the web.

If you create a UMB homepage hero, the UMB homepage uses a different hero image size:
- 1920 × 1200 px
- The same image can also be 2560 × 1600 px as needed.
