Explore Diverse Identities within SWANA and MENA Communities
April 9 from noon - 1 pm online
Join UMB Student Affairs April 9 at noon for "Counting Communities: SWANA & MENA Identity, Data, and Representation," a program that invites participants to explore the diverse identities, histories, and experiences within Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) and Middle Eastern/North African (MENA) communities in the United States.
Through guided conversation and shared perspectives, this program will create space to better understand identity, belonging, and representation within these communities and consider how institutions can more effectively support them.
