International Student Selected as Founder's Week Student of the Year

Tural Mammadli, a fourth-year PhD student from Azerbaijan, was named the Founder's Week Student of the Year because of his tremendous academic and leadership skills at the University of Maryland School of Social Work.

In August, a group of students and faculty from the University of Malawi visited Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. This trip was the culmination of the Environmental Justice, Human Rights, and Public Health course, a collaboration between the two institutions.

CVD Participates in Niger National Typhoid Conference

The Typhoid Vaccine Acceleration Consortium (TyVAC), led by UMSOM’s Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health, works to decrease the burden of typhoid by accelerating the introduction of TCVs in high-risk countries.
