This year, the Center for Global Engagement awarded five UMB President’s Global Impact Fund (PGIF) Partnership Support Grants. The grants are smaller awards to help maintain or expand existing partnerships and are an off shoot of the PGIF program.

The five Partnership Support Grants are:

• Costa Rica and India/UM School of Social Work – Expanding and Strengthening International Partnerships with the University of Costa Rica and Rajagiri College of Social Sciences
• Ireland/Carey School of Law – Comparative Constitutional Law Program with National University of Ireland, Galway School of Law
• Liberia/UM School of Nursing – Simulation Train the Trainer Program with Liberian Nurses
• Italy/UM School of Pharmacy – Expanding Long Time International Partnership with University of Camerino
• Malawi/UM School of Medicine– Partnership Growth through Professional Development
