With a robust legacy of more than 100 U.S. patents, our global footprint extends from the labs of the UMB to the farthest reaches of underserved populations. Its multidisciplinary approach tackles existing diseases and combat emerging pathogens, ensuring a healthier future for all.
It's Center for International Health, Education, and Biosecurity (Ciheb) is an international health, education, and research center founded by the Institute of Human Virology within the school. The center is comprised of a network of international experts who work with local stakeholders to combat infectious and non-communicable diseases in resource-limited regions of the world.
