Dr. Fadia T. Shaya

In our teaching and research, we emphasize evidence-based approaches to prescribing, health care, public health, and policy decisions. This evidence is based on available data, often circumscribed to a specific setting, geography or system. This course will introduce the types of data with a global reach, the various global data networks, and the AI methods that are used to leverage these data networks to elicit early safety signals, and possibly pre-empt a negative health outcome, e.g. the next pandemic. Speakers will include local and international experts.
