Incorporating Global Learning Competencies and Global Case Studies into a Graduate Level Infectious Disease Epidemiology Course

The objective of this project is to incorporate additional international and intercultural dimensions into a graduate level infectious disease epidemiology course offered by the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in the School of Medicine. This will be accomplished by including global learning competencies and more global case studies.
The Fellowship lead to the course “Infectious Disease Epidemiology: A Global Perspective” at the School of Medicine, which enrolled10 students: a mix of PhD Epi students, clinical fellows who are enrolled in the certificate in clinical research program, MPH students, and MD/PhD students.
