eBuilder, a cloud-based Construction Project Management Information System (PMIS), is implemented on all University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Design and Construction projects to organize and manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle.

The Project Request (NPR) process is used to request the creation of a project in eBuilder. To initiate a project request, please click the button below.

What happens when I submit a project request?

Once a project request form is submitted, it will route to the Executive Director who will meet with the Lead Project Managers to discuss; together, they will assign a Project Manager (PM) to oversee the project. After this review, a project will be created in eBuilder and will be assigned a project number. The PM will then meet with the client to go over budget and start a CFA (Client Funding Authorization) process.
