Duo

Duo Mobile App End of Support for iOS 16 and Android 11

Effective April 16, 2026, Duo Mobile will discontinue support for iOS 16 and Android 11.   The minimum required operating system versions will be iOS 17 or later or Android 12 or later.  To learn more, visit the Duo Support and Updates page.

Duo is the University of Maryland's solution for multi-factor authentication.

    • New User Enrollment – DUO Universal Prompt
      Introducing Duo's refreshed authentication experience, the Universal Prompt. When you log into an
      application protected with Duo after their initial account setup, they will be able to register your phone
      for Duo and install the Duo Mobile Application on your smartphone or tablet
    • Existing User - DUO Universal Prompt
      When logging in to an application with the Universal Prompt, you can add an additional device or
      manage existing devices by clicking the Other options link on the authentication page
