The Center for Cyber, Health, and Hazard Strategies (CHHS) serves as the designated staffing entity for the Maryland Workgroup on Artificial Intelligence Implementation.

Established by the Maryland General Assembly in July 2025, the Workgroup examines the use of artificial intelligence in Maryland and develops recommendations related to its implementation, oversight, and regulation. Areas of focus include the use of AI in decisions that significantly affect individuals, consumer protection, privacy, employment, government benefits, and responsible use of AI across the public and private sectors.

In accordance with Maryland's Open Meetings Act, this page provides public access to meeting notices, agendas, approved meeting minutes, recordings (when available), and other official Workgroup documents.
