One Night Only: Broadway in Baltimore

Join the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) for a concert benefiting the UMB CURE Scholars Program.

This unforgettable evening will feature extraordinary talent: Tony Award-nominated Broadway actor Norm Lewis from “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Misérables,” and Felicia Curry, Everyman Theatre resident company member and Broadway performer from “Into the Woods.” This one‑of‑a‑kind celebration of artistry and impact, featuring hit songs from your favorite Broadway musicals, is expected to sell out quickly. This event supports UMB’s CURE Scholars Program.

Tickets range from $75 to $150, plus taxes and fees. The $150 tickets include a post-concert reception.

The UMB CURE Scholars Program is a groundbreaking year-round program that seeks to prepare middle school and high school students in West Baltimore for competitive and rewarding research, health care, and STEM-related career opportunities.

With a focus on academic and career success, UMB CURE Scholars has set the path toward empowering students in Baltimore’s underserved and vulnerable communities. The program is committed to mentoring and training students toward high academic achievement, college and career readiness, and a competitive and a rewarding future.

By introducing students to these fields at a young age, UMB CURE Scholars hopes to inspire dedication to higher education and STEM careers that will uplift the students and their community and help alleviate medical and educational disparities.
