What We Don't Do
Traditional line editing tends to be a short-term solution to a long-term problem. We prefer to help students become independently engaged in their writing, equipped with the tools and strategies necessary to confidently evaluate their own work.
Write Papers for Students
We’re excited and prepared to help at any stage of the writing process — brainstorming, outlining, revision, etc. — but the data, arguments, and conclusions presented still belong to the student. We can help identify what’s making sense and what isn’t, where we’re confused and where we understand, and what’s missing and what there’s too much of, but the final decision of what’s included and what’s not is up to the students as growing experts in their fields.
