Jane Allgair, MBA, joined the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) in 2010.
Allgair is the assistant vice president for UMB’s Office of Research and Development, where she leads the financial, operations, and human resources activities. In 2023, Allgair was appointed to the position of treasurer of the UMB Health Sciences Research Park Corporation, the nonprofit board that manages development of the University of Maryland BioPark.
Allgair holds an MBA from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Ohio State University. Before joining UMB, she held positions in cash management, risk management, and credit, national accounts, at Marathon Oil; financial planning and analysis and investor relations at USF&G; and financial planning at Corporate Office Properties Trust.
