Caroline Sica, PMHNP, DNP
I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice, working full-time on an adult inpatient behavioral health unit in Easton, Maryland. I hold a bachelor's degree in nursing from Drexel University and both nurse practitioner and doctorate degrees from George Mason University. In my free time, I trained my dog, Gus, as a Therapy Dog. He now accompanies me at work, visiting patients throughout the hospital.
Why PALLA:
I am excited to serve as a PALLA Preceptor Fellow and to learn new skills and approaches that will help clarify the field of behavioral health for students. I am committed to ensuring that future providers feel confident in caring for patients facing behavioral health challenges.
