Faiz Khaja, MD
Originally from Kalamazoo Michigan, I now enjoy life on the Eastern Shore where I practice as a general surgeon at the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health. My practice incorporates a broad spectrum of general surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including a variety of open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical cases. I am fortunate that I get to work with a diverse array of health professionals across all specialties on a daily basis. I have always had a passion for clinical education, and I hope to learn how to maximize my impact with our students as they rotate on the surgical service. I am excited for the opportunity to participate in the PALLA program and grow as a preceptor, gaining valuable tools and the skillset to offer a high quality experience for our students, as well as providing leadership and mentorship, setting them up for successful careers in medicine.
