Joseph Gomez, PA-C, MPAS, MEd
Joseph Gomez is a Physician Assistant who works as a Hospitalist in Inpatient Medicine. He is a Veteran of the United States Army and served on active duty for 28 years as a Medical Laboratory Technician and a Physician Assistant. He completed his PA training through the Military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program and earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies through the University of Nebraska in 2009. He pursued further education and obtained his Master of Education from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, in 2021.
Passionate about service, Joseph currently precepts students and volunteers at the National Intreped Center of Excellence. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys time practicing his faith, spending time with his family, friends, fraternity and travelingabroad.
Why the PALLA Fellowship
I think my heart is set on service to others. I love precepting students in the clinical setting, mentoring, teaching and training. The PALLA fellowship offers me the opportunity to improve on all these aspects while developing a network that will enable me to serve my community better.
