Amy Barshinger, CRNP-FNP
I have worked in the healthcare system since 1996, gaining early exposure to patient care that shaped my long-term commitment to medicine and professional growth. My clinical background is primarily in outpatient medicine, with a strong foundation in primary care and family medicine, where I have focused on providing comprehensive, continuity-based care to diverse patient populations.
As my career has progressed, my interests have expanded beyond direct patient care to include mentorship, education, and leadership development. I value collaborative practice, thoughtful decision-making, and continuous improvement, and I am interested in supporting other providers as they build confidence, independence, and sound clinical judgment within an evolving healthcare landscape.
I chose to move forward with the PALLA fellowship because its emphasis on progressive autonomy, longitudinal learning, and structured professional development aligns with how I learn and how I practice. I believe hands-on, real-world clinical experience supports meaningful growth by allowing for observation, feedback, and individualized development while maintaining high standards of patient care.
