Christmas Store to Open at UMB’s Community Engagement Center

WHAT: The University of Maryland, Baltimore’s Community Engagement Center is partnering with Foundry Church to open a Christmas store for their West Baltimore neighbors on two Saturdays in December. Community members will be able to purchase brand new toys and gifts for the holiday season at a deeply discounted price.

INFO:  The University of Maryland, Baltimore’s Community Engagement Center is partnering with Foundry Church to open a Christmas store for their West Baltimore neighbors on two Saturdays in December.

On Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 from Noon – 5:00 p.m. West Baltimore community members will be able to shop for brand new toys and gifts for the holiday season. All of the gifts available in the store were donated by the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the Foundry Church communities. The new toys are priced between $1 and $5 allowing the community an opportunity to purchase gifts for their loved ones at a deep discount. Volunteers from both organizations will be on site to assist shoppers.
