A co-worker tested positive yesterday with COVID. I sat right next to her yesterday in a meeting, lasting over 1/2 hour. She also was feeling ill last week and just thought it was a cold at that time. Yesterday, after sitting next to her in the meeting, I went to see my brand new grandson. Should I be concerned for the newborn?

I would perform a COVID test in the next 24 hours to determine if you may have been infected from your coworker. If the point of infection was yesterday, then you may have been too early in the infection to be able to transmit to your newborn grandson. Nonetheless, if you test positive then you should quarantine at home. If you develop symptoms, even with a negative test, you should quarantine at home.
