I tested positive for COVID-19 eight days ago. My wife and 18 month old baby tested positive one day ago. I am now symptom free. How likely am I to be reinfected from interacting with either my wife or babe? Should I continue to wear a mask beyond my 10 day mark and through the 10 days for my wife and baby? Thank you
It is not likely that you would be reinfected so soon after your infection. You do not need to wear a mask around your wife and baby, however I would wear a mask when outside the home in public indoor spaces for at least 10 days after your wife and baby’s resolution of their infection.
