Our older son is 4 and just started pre-kindergarten.  This is his first time in a school setting.  I know that these school settings can be full of germs.  Do you recommend we get our son Covid and or Flu vaccines?  Do they have smaller doses for small children?

We recommend both Covid and Flu vaccination. The dose for a kindergarten age child (any person older than 35 months) is the same as an adult (0.5 mL), only younger children 35 months or younger, get the half volume (0.25 mL). Children also have the option to receive the intranasal flu vaccine, to avoid an injectable vaccine.
