Vaccination is the best protection against measles. If you have received two doses of measles-containing vaccine and you have a normal immune system (i.e., you are not immunocompromised) then you do not need to do anything. Adults who are unsure of their vaccination history should talk to their doctor and consider receiving measles-containing vaccine (i.e., MMR).
