Reetta Gach is the director in the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Institutional Effectiveness (IEIE) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). In this role, Gach leads the planning, implementation, and assessment of high‑impact programs and initiatives. Her work includes managing the university’s strategic plan implementation and reporting infrastructure, developing assessment frameworks and dashboards to measure institutional progress, and producing outcome‑based reports for campus and senior leadership.
She also oversees the coordination of campus‑wide initiatives, partnerships, and outreach efforts designed to strengthen engagement; improve faculty, staff, and student experiences; and support sustainable institutional change.
Gach has been with UMB since 2013. She brings extensive operations management experience spanning the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. In addition to operations management, she has experience planning and managing events, projects, and programs.
Prior to joining IEIE, she was a senior program specialist for the UMB Center for Interprofessional Education under the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Gach earned a master’s degree in management with a specialization in project management in 2015 and an MBA in 2020, both from University of Maryland Global Campus, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Baltimore in 2012.
Gach has three children and lives near campus in the Washington Village neighborhood.
