If your current writing projects leave you feeling overwhelmed, a writing community could help you stay focused and motivated. The Writing Accountability Group supports writers by carving out dedicated time to write, sharing interprofessional resources, and providing a friendly forum where you can articulate your research.
Writing Center
At the UMB Writing Center, we support student writers and faculty who teach with writing across all seven schools. We view writing not just as a set of skills, but as a reflective and strategic process essential to learning, research, and professional practice. Through empathetic and inclusive engagement, we foster a supportive environment grounded in respect and access. We offer consultations (online and in person), writing groups, workshops, and a robust library of resources — all designed to guide writers and educators at every stage of their development.
