Your Health. Your Community. Your Village.

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), University of Maryland Faculty Physicians (FPI), and the University of Maryland Medical Center have joined forces with community leaders, residents, and local stakeholders to create a comprehensive approach to health and well-being in the Mondawmin neighborhood and across West Baltimore.

The Health Village at Mondawmin is more than a clinic — it's a visionary hub designed to deliver medical, dental, and human services in one convenient, welcoming location. Every stage of this project has been shaped by community input through neighborhood listening sessions and public health data, because your voice drives our vision.

Our goal is for every resident to build a lasting, meaningful relationship with a dedicated doctor, dentist, and care team who will support them in achieving their health and wellness goals.

Three University of Maryland institutions — united by a shared commitment to health equity, community engagement, and world-class care — are bringing this vision to life alongside you.

    As an anchor institution in West Baltimore, UMB brings students and trainees from seven professional schools — Dentistry, Graduate Studies, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work — to learn alongside and serve the community.

    UMB's faculty practice is leasing 17,000 square feet at The Village at Mondawmin, bringing world-class physicians and providers directly into the neighborhood to deliver primary, specialty, and dental care.

    UMMC extends its mission of providing accessible, equitable health care by supporting specialty services, care coordination, and clinical resources at the Health Village.

No more traveling across the city for basic health needs. The Health Village brings a full spectrum of services to your neighborhood — your "one-stop shop" for wellness.

    Medical care for children and adults, including cardiology, pulmonology, and oncology services.
  • Dental Care
    Preventive and acute oral health services for the whole family in a dedicated Oral Health Care Suite.
  • Lab & Infusion Services
    In-house laboratory and infusion suite so you can get the testing and treatments you need close to home.
  • Telehealth & Digital Tools
    Virtual consultations and remote patient monitoring to extend your connection to care beyond the clinic walls.
  • Care Coordination
    A dedicated team addressing social determinants of health — connecting you to legal, social work, housing, and community resources.
  • Health Education Programs
    Community-driven workshops and programs co-designed with West Baltimore residents to promote health literacy and preventive care.
