Medicine Professor Gave Keynote at Kickoff Event in Singapore
Dr. Daniel Morgan, professor of epidemiology and medicine and director of the Center for Innovation in Diagnosis at the School of Medicine, served as the keynote speaker at a kickoff event in Singapore for a new campaign aimed at promoting Appropriate and Value-Based Care.
The campaign, initiated by the Singapore Ministry of Health, focuses on fostering appropriate care delivery, enhancing value in health care services, driving quality improvements, and prioritizing patient-centered measures that enhance the overall experience and outcomes for patients.
Beyond the kickoff event, Morgan dedicated the week to his role as a visiting professor at the National University of Singapore, where he engaged in meaningful discussions and explored exciting opportunities for collaboration between Singapore's academic community and UMSOM, particularly in epidemiology, public health, and infectious diseases.
