Deadline Extended to Submit Breakout Panel Sessions and Abstracts for Global Health Conference

Globally-focused students, faculty, and staff: UMB and University of Maryland College Park are co-sponsors of the next Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) conference that will be held in-person in Washington, D.C. on April 14-16.

The two universities are co-sponsoring under the MPower banner to focus on our individual and shared global health assets. CUGH2023 will bring global health researchers and practitioners together from around the world to share their work and insights about the future of global health in the these challenging time.

UMB Faculty: Breakout Panel, Abstract Presentation, and Satellite Session application portals are open now and close October 15. If you’re considering submitting a proposal and looking for other UMB contributors or want to brainstorm about ideas, please reach out to the Center for Global Engagement.

UMB Students: Please consider submitting an Abstract Presentation application (closes October 15). UMB students from all UMB schools have been very successful in the past with getting posters accepted. IMPORTANT: Center for Global Engagement staff can review your proposal before you submit it and the first five students who get their abstract accepted will receive FREE REGISTRATION to the conference.
