Honoring the Life of Dr. Paul Farmer: "Bending the Arc" Documentary Film Screening
April 7 at 4 p.m. in the SMC Campus Center, 2nd Floor
Join us for a screening of "Bending the Arc," a documentary about a team of young people — Paul Farmer, Jim Yong Kim, and Ophelia Dahl — whose charitable medical work 30 years ago ignited a global health movement.
Their goal was simple but daring: to make high quality health care available to everyone, even in the world’s poorest countries.
The event is sponsored by the Center for International Health, Education, and Biosecurity (Ciheb) and Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health (CVD) at the School of Medicine; Graduate School at UMB; Office of Global Health at the School of Nursing; Physician Assistant Leadership and Learning Academy (PALLA); School of Dentistry; School of Pharmacy; and School of Social Work.
Food will be served.
