Nikita Gryazin is a Policy Fellow, working within the Nuclear Weapons and New Technologies programme, focusing on Euro-Atlantic security, strategic stability, nuclear risk reduction, arms control and emerging security challenges. His recent research examines European defence and transatlantic security cooperation, and how technological and environmental change is reshaping security risks in Europe and the wider Euro-Atlantic region.

Nikita brings nearly a decade of experience in international security research and policy, spanning academia, think tanks and the private sector across Moscow, Oxford and London. Previously, Nikita coordinated the ELN’s Younger Generation Leaders Network (YGLN) from 2020 to 2026 and now oversees the network as an adviser and member of its Executive Committee.

Nikita holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, where he researched UK foreign policy after Brexit, and BA and MA degrees in International Relations from HSE University in Moscow. He is a member of the Euro-Atlantic Security Leadership Group and the Open Nuclear Network Expert Roster.
