Unit of the Office of the Controller
Financial Reporting manages UMB’s central financial reporting and accounting functions. This includes the university’s annual and interim financial statements, coordinates the annual financial statement audit, and handles key regulatory filings. Key regulatory filings include the annual Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBIT) report for IRS Form 990T, the Finance IPEDS report, and the BE-125 quarterly survey on international transactions in services and intellectual property.
