Laurie M. Graham, PhD, MSW is an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work. She came to this position with more than a decade of experience responding to and preventing sexual and intimate partner violence in community settings. Dr. Graham aims to identify innovative and feasible ways to prevent violence and related fatalities through community-engaged and participatory research and practice. Her scholarship emphasizes working with youth to prevent violence before it starts and using national data to understand how to prevent violent deaths. Dr. Graham received graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social work where she was a Royster Fellow and Injury and Violence Prevention Fellow.
