Samantha Fuld, DSW, MSW, LCSW-C, is Clinical Associate Professor and Associate Director of the Doctor of Social Work (DSW) program at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Dr. Fuld is a leader in advancing accessibility and disability justice in social work education. She brings extensive experience as a clinician and supervisor and is deeply committed to creating equitable, inclusive learning environments. As an educator, she champions Universal Design to ensure diverse needs and strengths are supported. She has received multiple teaching excellence awards and co-developed the Accessibility and Universal Design Framework for Social Work Education and Practice, informing both pedagogy and clinical care. Her work includes interprofessional collaborations to enhance neurodiversity-affirming healthcare education. Dr. Fuld’s scholarship centers on trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming clinical care. Through research, teaching, and advocacy, she works to reduce barriers and promote equitable, person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
