Mariel Pfister’s work spans clinical practice, program leadership, and community-based participatory research methodologies, with attention to intersectionality and system inequities. Her commitment to trauma-informed approaches stems from a belief in advancing healing and empowerment for young people, families, and communities. At EMBRACE, Mariel serves as the Director of Implementation and System Transformation, integrating trauma-informed strategies across programs and systems. She leads initiatives that promote equitable outcomes, develop community- and stakeholder-led curriculum, and facilitates training for staff and community partners. Her work ensures that programs are both effective and inclusive.
