Ryan Haynes Jr.’s early exposure to systemic inequities in Baltimore shaped his commitment to service, advocacy, and dismantling oppressive structures. These experiences, combined with his work as a youth counselor, fueled his passion for amplifying marginalized voices and supporting community empowerment. Currently pursuing his Master’s in Social Work, Ryan brings both lived experience and professional expertise to his role at EMBRACE. He serves as a Community Program Specialist and Case Manager, connecting young adults to resources, employment opportunities, housing assistance, and community programs. He also organizes events that foster authentic connections, empowerment, and equity-driven initiatives. Ryan’s work is guided by a deep belief in equality and a commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact in the communities he serves.
