Drawing on his own experience with incarceration, Willie Hamilton is dedicated to advancing reentry and restorative justice. He is passionate about helping others successfully reintegrate into society and advocating for fair legal practices. At EMBRACE, Willie serves as a Re-Entry Coordinator, providing court support, participatory defense guidance, and mentorship to justice-involved individuals. His daily work includes community outreach, developing social bio-packets to humanize clients in court or during parole hearings, and collaborating with state agencies to identify incarcerated individuals ready for representation and release. Through these efforts, he empowers others to navigate the system and rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
