The story of "From West Baltimore" continues following the teens through 8th grade. The stress of middle school now intensifies as they challenge themselves to excel on standardized tests while often being treated with suspicion in their own community. Their future will be delivered in the all-important acceptance letter - the first hurdle to overcome in their personal fight for a better life.
