Guidelines

All Projects Must Have a Work Request

Work order requests are essential for efficiently launching any project. They ensure we have all the necessary details upfront—including project goals, contact information, timelines, and scope of work—so our team can plan, prioritize, and deliver effectively. This process helps us stay organized, avoid miscommunication, and align our resources to meet expectations and deadlines.

Revisions

There are two types of revisions:

1. Minor Revisions: Copy Editing and Proofreading

  • This involves correcting typos, punctuation, spelling, and basic grammar.
  • These changes don’t alter the content’s meaning, structure, or visual layout.
  • These revisions usually are handled during the proofreading or final editing phase.

2. Major Revisions: Substantive Changes

  • This involves changes to structure, wording, tone, layout, or overall project strategy.
  • This might require coordination across editorial, design, and project management teams.

For non-billable clients, there is no charge for the first rounds of major drafts, but our hourly rate applies after that. For complex projects, our marketing team will contact you with details regarding the revisions process and when charges

Rush Orders

Our usual turnaround time for a standard project is three weeks. If you have a “rush project” that is needed within a week , you will be charged a rush fee, starting at $125. If you need to use our rush service, please note that in your work order request and we can let you know what the rush fee would be for your project. Please note that rush projects are subject to availability, we may not always be able to accommodate a rush request.

Communication Expectations

While working on your project, our team will be in constant touch, sending drafts and answering/asking questions. We understand that other priorities can arise, but we also do request timely response to our communications. If OCPA gets no response from a client for over 4weeks, the project will be discontinued, a new work order will need to be submitted to begin the process again.
