Toyah Reid is a second-year MSN-E student in the School of Nursing. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Towson University, and a Master of Public Health from Morgan State University. Currently, Toyah works as a Program Coordinator for a local health department. As Advocacy Director for USGA, Toyah hopes to amplify student voices, address issues that affect the student experience, and connect students with the resources and support they need. Her interest in advocacy has grown through participation in the Nursing Policy Academy, where she has developed a deeper appreciation for the role of policy in shaping health and education. Through her role, she hopes to foster a stronger sense of community and school pride while ensuring students feel heard and empowered. When she is not studying, Toyah enjoys listening to music, spending time with family, and going to the movies.
