Glenys Jarrett-Coker is a first-year MSN-E student and Conway Scholar in the School of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Speech Communications from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Currently, Glenys also volunteers as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS). As Treasurer for the University Student Government Association (USGA), she aims to streamline the funding process for student organizations, support underrepresented or emerging student initiatives, and promote financial literacy among students. In her spare time, she enjoys attending church, catching up on her favorite shows, hiking, working on her food blog and photography skills, and traveling.
