Please introduce yourself and describe your role at UMB.
I have been a UMB employee working at IHV since May 2011. My background is in auditing, accounting, financial reporting and analysis for UMB and various industries.
Why are you interested in serving on the Staff Senate?
The opportunity to make a positive contribution to the UMB community by serving in the role of a representative to identify and address issues affecting the campus as a whole.
What do you hope to accomplish during your term?
The opportunity to make a positive contribution to the University System of Maryland community by serving in the role of a representative who is committed to identifying and addressing issues affecting the System. I also look forward to the opportunity to develop my leadership capabilities, connect with leaders across the state of Maryland, and gaining insight into how the University System of Maryland operates.
Describe your hobbies and interests outside of work.
am interested in attending seminars and conferences for personal development. I love watching classic (older)movies, reading, mostly historical novels, and watching and playing tennis. I am also a Christian who is committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping others realize their financial goals and dreams.
