Amy Sallese
In her 16-year career at the University, she has worn many hats. Currently, Amy is the Senior Accounting Compliance Assistant in our Costing and Compliance Team with SPAC. Amy finds that our most unique feature at UMB is our diversity.
Amy is proud that “through all the changes and challenges over the years, I have managed to maintain a good balance between work and personal life.” It should come as no surprise then that the Core Values she embraces the most are Well-Being and Sustainability. She also enjoys the flexibility she receives working here.
She is a fan of Jackson Browne. Her favorite album of his is Late for the Sky. She also has been enjoying shows like The Pitt and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Her other interests are “my dog, beach time, and golf.”
Something surprising about her is that she lives “…at the beach full time now.” That is something many of us probably wish we could do. Amy says that she wishes she had the superpower “to control the weather.” Likely to help keep her beach days warm and sunny.
When she retires, Amy would like to travel the world. She would most like to visit Hawaii. That might be the perfect spot for someone who enjoys the beach so much.
